Hi, I’m Mary Botero.

Mary is a Chicago-based School Social Worker, clinician for Chicago Public Schools, and the founder of The Sana Social Club, LLC. Holding a Master of Social Work from Dominican University, she uniquely blends clinical expertise like EMDR therapy with somatic practices as a certified sound healer and Mat Pilates instructor. Mary’s ultimate passion is helping individuals bridge the gap between mind and body to safely learn how to self-regulate their emotions and reclaim their internal peace.

My Approach

At Sana Social Club, we don't believe you can care for the body without also caring for the mind. True well-being isn't found in extremes; it lives in the harmony between strength and stillness.

Our philosophy weaves together the physical precision of Mat Pilates with the restorative vibrations of Sound Healing. We call this Movement & Medicine. By building conscious, athletic alignment on the mat, we release physical tension and awaken the body’s power. By slowing down into an immersive acoustic sound bath, we drop the nervous system into a state of profound peace.

We move with intention, we rest with purpose, and we keep our circles small and intimate to ensure you get the high-touch, dedicated care you deserve. Whether you are here to build fire or find quiet, our approach is designed to return you to your natural state of wholeness.

Simple Practices.

Every session begins with the fundamentals—conscious breathing, precise alignment on the mat, and the simple act of laying down to listen. We strip away the noise of a busy day, focusing on accessible, intentional movements and pure acoustic frequencies that allow your body and mind to instantly drop into a state of ease.

Lasting Impact.

What starts on the mat doesn't end when you leave the studio. By strengthening your physical core and deeply resetting your nervous system, you carry a profound sense of clarity, structural alignment, and mental spaciousness back out into your daily Chicago life. We don't just change your hour; we shift how you carry yourself through the rest of your week.
